Tackling the Carbon sed Dioxide Challenge for cupidatat a Sustainable Future.

Are eu we - scientists commodo and engineers - occaecat ready to deliver reprehenderit CCUS for large qui scale deployment? What in are the challenges eiusmod and hurdles towards non implementation? What are cupidatat the technical solutions nisi and scientific breakthroughs incididunt emerged or about cupidatat to emerge? We veniam, will discuss these anim questions and many more in an ullamco interdisciplinary framework at labore the 2019 Gordon sit Research Conference on sunt CCUS (the third commodo of a series), nulla where participants junior Excepteur and senior will culpa be stimulated by amet, the highly interactive incididunt atmosphere typical of deserunt the GRCs and veniam, inspired by the Duis natural landscape surrounding non the conference venue, aliquip for the first ad time in Europe.
Among the specific id areas addressed by adipisicing the conference there adipisicing will be the proident, scientific breakthroughs in fugiat CCUS, the role magna a of CCUS in voluptate enabling negative emissions, commodo the systemic aspects cillum of CCUS, and cupidatat its role in enim selected industrial sectors.

Detailed DescriptionCarbon Capture, Utilization and Storage systems play a central role in political debates, technological efforts and scientific developments around climate change, as a consequence of two factors. First, with the Paris Agreement, countries have agreed to hold global mean warming well below 2°C and to pursue efforts to limit it to 1.5°C. Second, scientists have shown that any limit to global mean warming implies a maximum cumulative amount of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, the so called carbon budget. Such factors imply that science and technology (as well as political will and financial means) are needed not only to reduce emissions but also to generate negative emissions (true removal of atmospheric carbon dioxide), in case of carbon budget overshoot.
