Technology development and deployment to afford a more sustainable and circular chemical industry is required urgently. This special issue is dedicated to Green and Sustainable Chemistry, with a specific focus on Waste Valorization. The aim of this issue is to highlight how technology-driven companies, mostly originating from academic institutions, can aid in the transition from a linear to a more circular economy.
