The implementation of sustainable development activities is a key success factor in the chemical industry. The development and the results of a waste minimization program for a chemical production site is explained. Within three years an impressive improvement of 26% was achieved. The obvious ecological benefit is in line with considerable financial savings. Hence it is a case study for eco-efficiency.Downloads
