The Role of the Technical Staff in the Chemical Engineering Section of the University of Applied Sciences, Geneva

Abstract

We are responsible for the maintenance and running of existing pilot plants for student laboratory sessions and diploma projects. We also build new installations by assembling pipelines, instrumentation, pumps and valves, and connecting the energy, water and electricity supplies. In addition, we perform chemical analysis and administer the chemicals and materials required by the various chemical engineering laboratories.
