Two powerful methods of high-resolution NMR spectroscopy have successfully been applied for the solution of a stereochemical problem. The advantages of a modified pulse sequence for heteronuclear 2D shift correlation with inverse mode of detection and of a new variant of homonuclear 1D-NOE spectroscopy, improved with respect to sensitivity and spectral quality, are demonstrated. These two methods allow structure elucidation by low sample amounts within reasonable measuring times.Downloads
