Abstract

The thermal stability of push-pull-acetylenes 1 is improved by introduction of appropriate bulky substituents. Push-pull-acetylenes 1 react very easily with carbon acids. Addition of amines to the crude reaction product gives amides in an excellent yield by a simple “one-pot-procedure”.
