An analysis is presented for flow properties of a viscous liquid film falling on a heated inclined plane. The mathematical techniques of boundary-layer theory are used, and the continuum-, monumentum- and energy equations are solved numerically using an explicit difference technique. An iterative method of balances of materials and energy performs the stability of the computations. Experiments carried out with Newtonian Oppanol are in good agreement with the predictive values of the presented analysis.
