Abstract

The 1253.6 eV induced photo-electron spectra of solid selenides and red selenium are compared with the industrially used glass Ge33As12Se56. Corresponding to the low Se/Ge ratio, the germanium I values are low, the Auger signals indicate a high Wagner parameter (suggesting strong polarizability) and the sample is conducting.
