Abstract

The 13C NMR spectra of 1-monodeuterio- and 6,6-dideuterio-D-glucose are discussed in order to secure the assignments of signals with low shielding differences such as those of C-3 and C-5 by means of deuterium isotope effects on 13C chemical shifts.
