Quelques considérations sur l’utilisation des électrodes à membrane et leur limite de sensibilité

Results with different types of electrodes have shown that the sensitivity and especially the selectivity of the solid state electrodes is adequate for determining traces of ions in complex medium. This does not seem to be the case with liquid ion exchange membrane electrodes owing to their poor selectivity. On the other hand, our experiments have confirmed that these two types of electrodes enable one to study the behaviour of inorganic compounds in pure solutions.
