Abstract

The properties of a molecular amplifier based on the system C + SnO2 have been studied in a single oven followed by a column for separating CO and CO2 by VPC. Amplification factor are 1,78 per amplifier element at 970°C instead of the theoretical value 2, and 2,83 instead of 4 with two elements. The importance of temperature, grain diameter, mean life time and of the regeneration processes is discussed.
